Could you spare some change?

Have you ever had a organization or a cause that you really wanted to donate to but it wasn't exactly in the budget? A great way to donate is by using spare change. Most people have a coin jar that they throw spare change in and wait till it piles up to cash it in to use. So next time you have the urge to donate to a cause but don't have the dollars, use that spare change. Unless you are digging into that change jar everyday you probably wouldn't miss the money. I haven't touched my change jar for about a month now so today I decided to cash it in and donate it to Meals From the Heartland. All the change added up to $24.53 not a lot of money but $24.53 is enough for about 20 packages of food and is enough to feed 120 people one meal, or feed a family of 6 three meals a day for a whole week. What seems like nothing to us could be a life saver elsewhere.
