Day 2 of 30-Day Charity Challenge

Today I had a couple minutes to look through my closet and find some stuff that I don't wear anymore. I was pretty surprised by the amount of stuff that I really don't use. I gathered up some old shirts, jeans, and shorts and dropped them off at the local Goodwill here in Waukee, IA.
Goodwill offers customized job training, employment placement and other services to people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges. More than 170,000 people obtained meaningful employment in 2010 through their participation in Goodwill programs. These people went on to earn over $2.7 billion in salaries and wages, and contributed to their communities as productive, tax-paying citizens. Goodwill funds job training, employment placement services and other community programs by selling donated clothing and household items at Goodwill retail stores and online.
Goodwill is a easy way to donate without spending money and while cleaning out the unneeded items in your house. Win Win. Check out Goodwill's website to learn more and find a location near you. http://www.goodwill.org/
